- KIPP Academy seventh graders will be visiting Sid on February 17th to complain about servery food and insult our intelligence. It should be a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

- JAG and Sloane are looking for new ideas to improve the PDR and Big Room. Possible suggestions could include a public area where one might dine (instead of a random shit closet with a piano) and the epic return of Club Kisurb downstairs.

- We’re currently developing plans to clean up the PDR and Big Room. The PDR was gutted over the course of winter break and might be repainted in the near future, though we’ll check with Housing & Dining about painting regulations first. A Big Room cleanup will take place this Sunday afternoon; there will likely be food.
- We might schedule official spring cleaning days for Sid in upcoming years.
- We’re considering ways to deter non-incidental damages to Sid property. If future monthly damages are below a certain dollar amount, we may throw a TG with the money saved on damages.

- Sid Skate will be held next Tuesday from 10:15-11:15 pm. If you want to avoid embarrassment and sore hind parts, be sure to pre-game extensively before you get on the ice. Just ask Matt King about his strategy for broomball during this year’s advisor training if you have any questions.

- Attention Sidizens: the greatest college night in the history of college nights will soon be upon us. Summon your inner wizard for Friday’s festivities, unless you’re Brian Hunt, who finds the theme repulsive. Since his girlfriend isn’t quite old enough for HP yet, he’s arranged for a rival college night to take place off campus: “Blue’s Clues in the Dirty South.” Let him know if you’re interested.

- Contrary to popular belief, a magical, never-ending geyser of money doesn’t pay H&D to fix all the dumb stuff we do. In lieu of this harsh reality, Sid paid for $130 in damages last month. For those of you keeping track, that would’ve been almost 280 keystones.

- For those left behind this Thanksgiving break, the masters and RA’s will serving Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks to Nick, you can look forward to eating meat stuffed inside of meat stuffed inside of meat, just like the pilgrims did at the first Thanksgiving.

- November 14th will be this year’s Homecoming, so be sure to do your civic duty and vote for Homecoming King and Queen. Sam Wang doesn’t want you to take the contest seriously, but if we don’t rig this thing for a Duncan Pod Bathroom and Baby Llu, I’ll consider us failures. Cast your vote at ricehc@gmail.com.
