This is page is for people outside of Sid who are concerned about the damage done to Sid by Hurricane Ike.

First and foremost: the damage was minimal, no-one was hurt and little property damage occurred.

That being said, 6th floor lost a balcony window, 2nd floor experienced some water damage as did the OC lounge and common area.

Look for an email from Claire concerning Sid Committees, so that we can finally have a complete list of committee members that doesn’t include the name “Bhavika Kaul” 20 times. Sid will be having a Committee Fair on September 18 so you will have a chance to learn about and join new committees.

80’s Party is THIS SATURDAY! Come to the commons Thursday night at 9 to buy/sell/exchange old 80’s clothing. And it’s not too late to sign up for security, because we still need more people!

Sid Retreat is happening this FRIDAY and SATURDAY nights!!  Sign up for either Friday OR Saturday by midnight tonight (Wednesday) if you want to guarantee a place to sleep (or you can just shack up with Claire).  No matter what, be there Saturday afternoon at 1:00 to discuss all that is Sid. 
For those interested, meet Thursday at 6:00pm in the commons to hash out logistical details for this Sid-tastic weekend.  Phew.
 
Congrats to Sid for pulling off another successful orc-raid and winning Sid $1000 to Best Buy.  New stacks anyone??
 

Hey! This is really important! Thank you to the Marisa Show for coordinating an awesome oweek.

A reminder to Will Belligerinski and the rest of Sid: belligerence and destruction to our college result in fines, plus our custodians shouldn’t have to clean up beer and/or bodily fluids every morning. Also, if Rob gets sticky feet, he will hunt you down.
